We bring our pro kit to your offices and capture corporate headshots in either the classic traditional look or the more contemporary informal style. We also offer a City location portrait service for clients who require a headshot with a London background.
Staff headshots for Babcock International Group at their offices in The Blue Finn building in South London. They gave me a large office with plenty of natural daylight to do the headshots and I set my lights up to have the view out the window as a backdrop. In the corner of the room was a large concrete pillar which formed part of the interior/exterior wall. I decided to use this as the background as it gave soft graduated grey tones.
Commission for national law firm Shoosmiths LLP. These corporate headshots were taken at their offices in Reading and Basingstoke. The interior of the office had plain walls and one long north facing window. I decided to shoot these using only the ambient light as the lighting was already very diffused. It was also a relatively small office and this made it a little harder for the subjects to relax and for me to capture the natural expressions.
Shoot for Ingenica Solutions who required some natural office headshots for their new website and marketing material. The shoot was in a south facing meeting room with plenty of natural light. This is normally a big help for these type of photo shoots, but the sunlight was going in and out all the time which meant I really had to concentrate on my exposure as well as following the conversation and focusing on the actual workplace headshots.
Recent commission for US company WilmingtonTrust.com at their London offices in The City. They said they just wanted very simple and clean headshots for marketing use. I sometimes find that a client will ask me to match the portraits they have had done before or similar to what the head office in the US has commissioned. This is OK but it can be pretty hard to match exactly and can result in plenty of photoshop work. Mostly though when clients see what I have captured for them they tend to go with the originals.
